For a quiet person, I yammer with my fingers a lot.

This blog started as place to talk about my book, “LUMP: 19 Monologues From a 27-Year-Old Breast Cancer Survivor.” But it has branched out a bit.

I don’t talk about my pets, food, or work here (I have other blogs for that), but I do talk about my creative process. Mostly, that means writing. But I went ahead and married a guy really into the visual arts, so that’s been seeping in. And don’t be surprised if you see a post or two about playing music, or building things out of wood or fabric. I like to keep busy.

After graduating from High School in Colonie, NY, I went to Syracuse University where I earned some degrees in Magazine Journalism and English & Textual Studies. Then I got my M.S. in Technical Communication from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. I happily work in the web world.

I also recently became a proud mama. My daughter is awesome, even though she spits up on me a lot.
